Manchester Airport Parking

Cheap Airport Parking? Don’t just go for the Cheapest Airport Parking!

Booking Cheap Airport Parking

I ran the office at a busy Airport Parking Carpark near Manchester Airport, and in my time there I met many customers who had wasted their money booking the cheapest Airport Parking! They simply drove back out saying “I am not leaving my car there!” And had to find another carpark that charged much more, but they knew there would be no problems.

If you find a Cheap Airport Parking Carpark that is significantly cheaper than the others, you should not just think “that’s a great deal!” You should be a bit suspicious. Your car is a valuable item, you should not just park it anywhere! The last thing you want is a nightmare Airport Parking experience!

Most Cheap Airport Parking will be OK but you run the risk of it not being OK. If, when you arrive and it looks like it is not OK, what do you do? You can take the risk and park there or you try to book another last minute airport carpark. You would then have to pay again and may not be able to get a refund on the cheap airport parking.

Why is the Airport Parking Cheap?

The cheap Airport Parking may be cheaper because they have much less overheads such as less staff, or they have not invested in proper facilities like security, or lighting, or insurance. Or it may not even be a proper carpark!

The Cheap Airport Parking may be cheaper because they are not using an agent to book through. You may think that is just good business, cutting out the middleman, so you can save money and book directly through their own website. Agents do charge a percentage to the Airport carpark, but it is good when a carpark is booked through an agent, as there is less chance the the carpark is a bad rogue carpark.

The agents will not take any carpark, they usually only accept the reputable Airport Parking Carparks. Those that are approved by the airport and have planning permission to be a carpark from the local authority.

And they will usually stop being associated with those that lose their approval by the airport. The agents are large professional businesses and they have a reputation to uphold and do not want to be associated with bad rogue Airport Carparks.

You can usually tell when you are booking through an agent as the search box is of high quality and will show the agents name with the search results. The agents are large businesses and have invested a lot of money ensuring the search technology is first class, as that is where their revenue comes from.

Most carparks booked through an agent usually range from OK to very good. If you do a comparison search from an Airport Parking website and it is not going through an agent, be careful. In fact with my experience with Cheap Airport Parking I would not book with an Airport carpark that doesn’t use an agent.

You need to check the location of the Cheap Airport Parking carpark to check how close it is to the airport and check the reviews on Google Maps. If most reviews are good, it is probably OK. If they are mainly one or two stars, do not book with them!

Check Google Maps

To be on the safe side I would recommend you only book through a site that uses an agent, unless it is an Airport Parking Carpark you have used before and you are happy to use them again. This also applies if the Airport Parking Carpark has been recommended by a family member or friend who has used it.
